1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to CityDoctor Doctor App.
By registering, accessing, or using the Doctor App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Doctor App.
2. Purpose of the Platform
CityDoctor Doctor App is a technology platform designed to assist registered medical practitioners in:
- Managing professional profiles
- Displaying chamber information
- Managing appointments
- Updating availability status
- Communicating service-related information to patients
CityDoctor is not a healthcare provider and does not practice medicine.
3. Eligibility
Only legally qualified and registered healthcare professionals may create and maintain a doctor account.
By registering, you represent and warrant that:
- You possess valid professional qualifications.
- You hold a valid registration with the appropriate Medical Council or Regulatory Authority.
- The information submitted is accurate and current.
4. Doctor Verification
CityDoctor may request verification documents, including:
- Medical Registration Certificate
- Qualification Certificates
- Government-issued Identity Proof
- Professional Practice Details
CityDoctor reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or remove any doctor profile at its sole discretion.
5. Doctor Profile Information
Doctors are responsible for maintaining accurate information including:
- Name
- Qualification
- Specialty
- Registration Number
- Consultation Timings
- Chamber Address
- Consultation Fees
- Contact Details
Doctors agree to promptly update any changes to their professional information.
6. Appointment Management
Where appointment features are available:
- Doctors are responsible for managing appointment schedules.
- Doctors shall make reasonable efforts to honor confirmed appointments.
- Doctors may reschedule appointments when necessary.
CityDoctor is not responsible for missed appointments, scheduling conflicts, or patient attendance issues.
7. Smart Queue and Availability Status
If the platform provides real-time availability features:
- Doctors may voluntarily update their status.
- Status may include "Available", "In Chamber", "Busy", "Away", or similar indicators.
- Such information may be displayed publicly to users.
Doctors are responsible for the accuracy of their availability information.
8. Professional Responsibilities
Doctors agree to:
- Comply with all applicable laws and medical regulations.
- Maintain professional standards and ethics.
- Protect patient confidentiality.
- Avoid misleading claims or advertisements.
- Use the platform solely for lawful healthcare-related purposes.
9. Patient Data and Confidentiality
Doctors may access patient information necessary for appointment and consultation management.
Doctors shall:
- Keep patient information confidential.
- Use patient information only for legitimate healthcare purposes.
- Not sell, share, disclose, or misuse patient information.
Any misuse of patient information may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.
10. Prohibited Activities
Doctors shall not:
- Provide false qualifications.
- Use another practitioner's credentials.
- Upload misleading information.
- Harass or abuse users.
- Attempt unauthorized access to platform systems.
- Engage in fraudulent activities.
11. Fees and Subscription
If CityDoctor introduces premium services, subscriptions, or listing fees:
- Applicable charges shall be displayed clearly.
- Doctors agree to pay applicable fees before using paid features.
- Fees once paid may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
12. Intellectual Property
All software, branding, content, trademarks, logos, and platform materials remain the exclusive property of CityDoctor.
Doctors receive only a limited, non-transferable license to use the platform.
13. Disclaimer
CityDoctor acts solely as a technology platform.
CityDoctor:
- Does not provide medical services.
- Does not guarantee patient volume.
- Does not guarantee appointment bookings.
- Does not guarantee income generation.
Professional services provided to patients remain solely the responsibility of the doctor.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CityDoctor shall not be liable for:
- Loss of income
- Appointment disputes
- Patient dissatisfaction
- Medical negligence claims
- Service interruptions
- Technical failures
- Indirect or consequential damages
15. Suspension and Termination
CityDoctor may suspend or terminate a doctor account if:
- False information is provided.
- Verification fails.
- Medical registration becomes invalid.
- Platform policies are violated.
- Fraudulent or unethical conduct is detected.
16. Indemnification
Doctors agree to indemnify and hold CityDoctor harmless from any claims, liabilities, losses, or legal proceedings arising from:
- Professional medical services provided by the doctor.
- Violation of applicable laws.
- Violation of these Terms & Conditions.
- Misuse of the platform.
17. Modifications
CityDoctor reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
Updated Terms shall become effective upon publication within the platform.
Continued use of the Doctor App constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Any dispute arising from the use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over the registered office of CityDoctor.
